Recently, the UK’s DTI funded a breakthrough report on the overall performance of various solar panels systems. The report highlighted the need for zero carbon solar thermal systems. They pointed out that the operational carbon clawback exceeded 20 percent for some solar panels.

To save energy, there was one zero carbon solar panel, Solartwin, whose design innovations were validated by the study.
