Solar power is a great source of energy and power. It is abundant and infinitely renewable. Now, major corporations are doing their part to help the environment by putting their unused rooftop space to good use. Corporations like Google, Staples, and General Motors are making use of the latest solar power technology.
In fact, this time two years ago the General Motors California facility had the largest corporate design Solar Power System in operation. You can see it here in this two-year-old video. Their installation generates as much as one mega-watt of clean sustainable power.
While solar power costs have dropped over 50 percent over the last 30 years, prices still remain high for the average consumer. Yet if you have the largest companies globally putting solar power technology on their rooftops, that will force up the supply and demand of the systems.
In turn, this will reduce the costs, which will in turn make it affordable for the average homeowner to be able to seriously consider investing in this important clean energy technology.
This solar power video was produced two years ago for General Motors, but its message of hope can still be heard. Good for them!

California should …
California should really have no power outages with all the sun available especially in the south. If only any company would take GM Cali as an example, the problem would be solved.
