I’ve visited a number of sites looking for basic information about how to make solar panels for homes. Aside from the program at Earth4Energy, I have largely been disappointed. However, I have finally found a great YouTube video that perfectly explains the simple steps that go into creating basic solar panels for homes.
In this video, you will get instructions about constructing solar panels for homes. You can use these solar panels for homes in heating the water or maybe running a refrigerator. While this is not supplying all your energy needs, such basic solar panels for homes will make a big difference in your energy bills.
If you do follow these instructions, it would help to install a flow control system to make your solar panels for homes so much more efficient when heating water. The flow control system will help by reducing the amount of water needing to be heated up. This will ensure that the water gets hotter quicker and will remain so for longer.
Another good bit of advice is to ensure that your solar panels for homes remain out in the open. Keep them away from anything like overhanging trees and bushes so there is nothing blocking them from the sun.
Without regular upkeep, your solar panels for homes will run less efficiently as bird’s droppings, grime and other debris builds up. So make a regular point to use warm water and a soft cloth to keep your solar panels for homes clean.
Finally, as we move around the sun over the course of a year, the sun’s trajectory changes. Therefore, it helps to adjust your solar panels occasionally. It’s a good habit to get into to pointing them towards the sun’s position each equinox and solstice. That should be sufficient to cover you throughout the year. If you would rather not do it manually, you could always invest in a solar tracker. This would orientate your solar panels for homes toward the sun, thereby staying attuned to its position in the sky relative to the seasons. Some solar trackers even adjust according to the time of day!
After reading this article and watching the following YouTube video, you should be well on your way to establishing your own solar panels for homes, building them into your solar power for homes system.
