What’s the worst thing on the table at the U.N. Climate Control Conference in Copenhagen from December 7 to December 18? If you guessed cap-and-tax, you’re wrong. The reparations could be much, much worse.

The draft of the treaty encompasses 181 pages and recites that it shall be the obligation of developed countries (Europe, United States, Japan, Australia, etc.) to pay the developing countries (China, India, Africa, etc.) huge reparations in the form of annual sums to erase poverty and to share technology. Australian lawyer Janet Albrechtsen explains the most recent draft of the treaty:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/12/climate_treaty_reparations_would_cost_50-200bn_per_year.html

"The major countries are putting together a fund to help poor countries deal with the cost of anti-pollution technology"

So we get a deficit, and these "poor" countries get money and technology.
"The major countries are putting together a fund to help poor countries deal with the cost of anti-pollution technology"

China is poor?

You won’t get the liberals to believe this.
They are such lemmings they can’t understand what the hell is happening to our country.

sure why not. It’s not going to be worth anything anyway. pay them in dollars. not in gold or anything else. pay them in Obama money. The new $1,000,000 bill. with his face on it. that would be perfect.

Well, we pay china more than that each year just in junk we buy at walmart. I think, not having read the article I admit, that there will be strings attached to the money, they will have to use it to buy technology and equipment from us. The more money they have, the more investment in us, the better it is for everyone. Its a long term goal for the good of everyone, including us, and its nothing more or less than we have been doing, poorly, in foreign aid for years and years now.

That is why we have summits with negotiations and agreements. Obviously, no one is going to pay these folks money like that…

Hey, we’re rich, right? The rest of the world will expect us to pick up the tab! We do with everything else!

If things go over that than we simply raise taxes!!

Hmm… borrow money from China so that we can pay them and others reparations? Meanwhile, money to Africa and India helps to create their emerging markets for cheap Chinese goods? Then our ethnic "minorities" become pluralities, and our crushing debt turns the USA into the Third-World nations that were formerly India and Africa? I’m sure the so-called "American" President will be all for it.

The US is not the only ones paying into it, the ones you mentioned are too.

    That’s all Rush Jr..
