Initially I was exrtemely interested in these types of products untill I did some simple math… As stated a 250w system will produce about 1kwh per day .. 30 kwh per month. Around here 1 kwh is about .10 so each month
I would save about $3.00 considering these systems run around $1000 it will be about 27 years before I get a return on the investment… Not so great. But you would be be helping mother earth….

Not quite sure what was your motivation for writing your comment, but I would tend to disagree with the lement of it being unviable financially.
There are many grants, loans and tax concessions and other benefits that will take the price within reach – after that, you have free electricity for many years, minimum 20 years I’d expect.
Yes there is an inital outlay but it is not prohibitive in my opinion and the return on investment is good enough, let alone the environmental benefits.
Because we maybe dont agree on this point, dont let that put you off. Please do keep sending in your comments
