New technology uses cheaper materials instead of expensive silicon crystals. These new solar cells are projected to cost one tenth of what the more expensive silicon cells cost.

how much does it cost?
hi i did not …
hi i did not understand what you have replied me , what is “Ditto that…us also..! “???????????????
Ditto that…us …
Ditto that…us also..!
LOL!
LOL!
The future as we of …
The future as we of the 21st century has been idealizing for so many years better be available before I die, because I think I might want to be a cyborg if parts of my body can’t function any longer.
Damn priporitary …
priporitary issues! I think we should all buy out their copywrite, create laws that jail lobbiests and anyone who gets in the way of largescale RE, and save the world from fossil fueled depletion.
Concentrated Solar Power is better in that people can’t laught at it when the sun sets.
So everyone tell everyone else about these breakthroughs AND DEMAND CHEAP RENEWABLE ENERGY!
CSP can sustain global populations… Enhanced Geothermal Systems can sustain thousands of such!
★★★★★ Stars…for …
★★★★★ Stars…for the vid!
i got full instruction step by step how to make cheap solar panel.. if anybody looking for..
buddy where can i …
buddy where can i buy it if i want it?
there are a lot of …
there are a lot of ways to save our electricity…
on of it is to build our own energy system…
sounds hard right?
but it is actually as simple as 1..2..3..!!
but you need the guide before you can do it as simple as i do…
try this website…

i’m very sure you won’t regret this!!
So hurry up and …
So hurry up and release this technology!
The government will …
The government will hold the patents up with red tape. The central banks will not loan the funds needed to produce this stuff on a mass scale. What would they do with all the extra oil?
So why isnt it in …
So why isnt it in production then?
It dosnt matter if they pledge investment or not. If the company cannot approve a plan with the bank they use, the contract will be tied up forever. Google “EV1″, the same happened with this car.
Lol it wouldn’t …
Lol it wouldn’t surprise me if they did that. But I read they have plenty of investors (including big ones like google) and according to there website they have the “largest solar cell factory in California and the world’s largest panel-assembly factory in Germany” both of which are fairly new so it will still take time to reach the average consumer I think.
A business person …
A business person once explained in a video, that if they could make solar panels for one cent they would still sell it at a high cost (maybe one dollar cheaper than the next cheapest cell) and keep all the profits.
I would not hold my breath for cheap solar panels.
this is awesome. …
this is awesome. Cant wait to hear more from it.
siim258 is …
siim258 is completely correct! This technology is strictly a pipe dream.
When and if oil …
When and if oil peaks, you can bet all your lifesavings that people will turn to solar, not nuclear. Why? Because they’re afraid of the waste. Until the nuclear lobby can figure out how to reliably recycle this waste in a breeder reactor or how to store it safely, the public won’t buy it. Another problem with the nuclear option is that we can’t put a nuclear reactor in our backyard, but we can build concentrated solar!
Yeah but by the …
Yeah but by the time the have ‘peak indium’ (like peak oil) new technology will come out.
I find it very …
I find it very interesting that the USA has the technology to fix the problem but don’t, won’t or can’t. I hear or read people state, “we have great technology, it’s only $12,000.00 to install and it will produce this kind of power.” That’s great but what if we the people don’t have that kind of money but we desperately want to upgrade our technology to improve our energy source? I keep saying we have the technology but we still have as yet, to figure how to get it to the people.
Right. Time to …
Right. Time to corner the market in Indium.
Too bad they didn’t …
Too bad they didn’t mention that Indium (the element that makes the I in CIGSS) is about 10 000 000 less abundant than silica.
Who makes the tiny …
Who makes the tiny tile? I would be interested in the company details.
fuck exon and …
exon and chevron. i hope they go bankrupt. c’mon people lets take action. switch to green and we will save ourselves money.
