I don't know. But I am considering retro-fitting my house for passive solar. I am thinking of installing a skylight and putting a slate or brick floor under it for thermal mass. Also might build a trombe wall and put upper and lower vents in it to bring heat into my back room. I have already installed rain barrels and they do a fine job of collecting rainwater for watering my garden. Since I can't afford to build a house, I am looking at ways to make my existing house more energy efficient. I would like to either get a tankless hot water heater or check into making a solar unit, but it will be awhile before I get to that. You might find there are some ways to adapt your current home to take advantage of passive solar, too!
Good luck with your project!
