After one has obtained all the essential details he or she will need to do some drafting before writing the paper itself. This is a very important process that should not be ignored by anybody who wants to write successfully. It should therefore not be ignored by anybody who is serious about writing impressively.

Prior to this being done, the writer should ensure that he or she comprehensively understood the topic and has all the data he or she needs at hand. The importance of this process cannot be overemphasized as many of best writers in the world encourage its usage. There are some things that need to be observed while doing this.

Adequate time for the writer to focus on his or her writing is important. Focus on the topic is important here and it should be geared towards delivering understanding to the target audience. Calmness of where the study is also important. This should be in a place that is away from noise and other such distractions that will lower the writers concentration. Last minute rushes are no good either. It is important to spare enough time to collect ones thoughts together.

A title and an introduction are unnecessary in the process. The two should, however, be included in final writing. References should also not be included here. Although the writer should have them written somewhere where he or she can include them in a final paper.

Many writers want to make their drafts as perfect as possible. This is sometimes very unnecessary. The drafter does not need to correct any grammatical errors that may have been made in event of writing the paper. Neither does he or she need to rectify the spelling mistakes that may have been committed.

The next step is now to write. A brief statement of the main ideas of the text should be made in the first paragraph. This should be brief and avoid any deep details. These details can be delivered during the final paper. The writer should bear in mind that what he or she is writing is for the audience. The details should therefore be delivered in such a way that the target audience can comprehend what the writer wanted to say.

Whatever is written should therefore be aimed at communicating to the target audience. After this part, the rest of the body should include the main talking points of the text in brief. It is important to observe smooth transition from one point to another.

Despite the fact that this is Drafting, a conclusive paragraph should be included. This paragraph is usually the summary of the main details that have been made in main body. The main points that were stated in the body should be listed here. This paragraph does not have to be long. It can be a mere paraphrasing of things that were said in introduction. It can also be a listing down one by one of all the things that were said in the main body of the text. Here, the writer can also put down his or her own opinion of what he or she feels about the text. This is especially the case in academic writings.
