I cannot help but wonder how much rubbish, i.e., paper receipts, plastic packaging, styrofoam cups, and how much fossil fuel was used to put on this show. They could have had a video-internet conference. It would have been better for the planet.

Antarctic sea ice …
Antarctic sea ice extent and concentration for January 2009 were up significantly over 1997, 34.8% for ice extent & 22% for ice concentration. Jan 2009 sea ice was also up 23% over 1980. This continues a long trend of increases and before long the penguins will be able to walk to Brazil!

Dr. Leonard Weinstein worked 45 years at the NASA Langley Research Center. He is now a critic of the anthropogenic theory of global warming. His analysis shows that man has contributed less than 0.3C of warming and by the year 2100 may contribute less than 0.4C additional warming. This is much less than what the United Nations has predicted and a small fraction of what alarmists Al Gore and James Hansen have predicted.

Sometimes I wish we were living 10 or maybe 20 years in the future… Then I´d like to see what those who now talk about “taxes, invasion of privacy, and scepticism” would be thinking. These must be the people who thing oil has been given by a god, and the pump must be ready to refill our planet. If there is a God he must be on vacation and the J-Day will come by our own doing. then stop buying Chineese products.

China frustrated the COP top, now people act themselves.
