… on over 52 million homes in theUnited States? Surely that would be possible at less than cost to wage the entire Iraq battle from beginning to the end of 2007?

Knowing this, would you be willing to write your Congressperson/Senator and tell them to Stop spending your tax dollars to war and start spending the same amount to fit every American home, apartment, etc. with solar power for homes as well as the equipment needed to recycle what power they don’t use back to utility companies.

If this were started today, by the end of 2009 the United States of America could be 70% free of any oil consumption whatsoever, domestic or foreign. Are Your Willing To Give It A Try?

My proposed letter as a template that you could use:

Dear [Senator] [Congressperson]:

As my elected representative, I request that for every tax dollar spent to wage war in a foreign country, one dollar be put into a sealed trust account for the sole and only purpose of fitting, or retrofitting, every American residence, whether home, apartment, trailer, or whatever, with solar power for homes.
I do not believe that America will only ever spend vast amounts of money on killing foreigners. I stand for a nation that we can be proud of, a nation that stands for choice and freedom and the wellbeing of all people with no one left out.
